The advantages of UAN activation with Aadhaar are as follows:

  • There are fewer possibilities of inconsistencies in data since the information matches the employees’ Aadhaar card details.
  • Reduces the likelihood of having a duplicate account.
  • Withdraw PF without the requirement of employer attestation.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, Aadhaar and UAN activation offer employees simplified EPF account access and various government benefits. The entire process is simple and can be completed online, offline, or via the UMANG app.

In addition, it is crucial to remember that connecting UAN to Aadhaar is mandatory, and neglecting it might lead to UAN deactivation.  Thus, to prevent any probable issues in the future, it is strongly advised that all EPF users complete UAN activation with Aadhaar as early as possible.
